I have been familiar with the phrase “journal impact factor” for a long time. So, when the librarians reached out to understand more about the impact of librarians’ involvement in research projects on journal impact factors, I jumped at the opportunity. Well, I got someone to do it!
Yuling Max Chen was informed on very short notice to work on this dataset, with a tight deadline. He took up the challenge and completed the requested analysis within a few days. During his analysis, he noticed some possibilities and brought his ideas to the principal investigators. They received his suggestions well. Despite the short timeframe, they were able to collect more data for further analyses. This wonderful collaboration led to another successful publication.
