A new publication in JMIR Aging co-authored by two of our wonderful SCSRU graduate consultants, Ph.D. candidate Minzee Kim and Sidharth Bajaj! This project marks an exciting milestone for the SCSRU, as it is the first time we have had two student consultants join forces on a single project, each bringing their own distinct expertise to the table. This collaboration truly showcased the exceptional innovative thinking of our students; while I hadn’t initially considered utilizing Personalized Predictive Modeling (PPM) for this dataset, Minzee brilliantly recognized the connection and integrated the methodology directly from her own research framework. Furthermore, it became a phenomenal model for teamwork and continuity: when Sidharth stepped in to pick up the project, he had to learn these sophisticated predictive modeling techniques entirely from scratch. Sid put in an immense amount of dedication and effort to rapidly catch up, master the PPM framework, and successfully push the project across the finish line alongside Minzee.
Congratulations Minzee! Congratulations Sid!
